The heavy rains last week had the fish moving around. Fortunately for us, they were hungry!
Snook continue to provide the best action this summer with good numbers of upper slot fish being landed along the passes and creeks of Sanibel Island and Captiva Island. The intense fresh water from last weeks rain event has pushed the river Snook out from Cape Coral and Fort Myers shorelines and into the higher levels of salinity found in the northern area of Pine Island Sound. Weather appears to be settling into a normal summer pattern now and that means beautiful clear mornings that are fantastic for some fishing and sight seeing. Call us today and speak directly with Captain Jay to book your custom trip. Come see why we continue to be rated the best fishing charters in Cape Coral! We provide easy and convenient pick up/drop off services for all of Cape Coral, Fort Myers, Fort Myers Beach, Sanibel Island, Captiva Island, matlacha, and Pine Island. Captain Jay

The inshore bite in May was phenomenal and June is not disappointing!
What a great week we had to finish the month! The Snook bite was some of the best we’ve had in years. We had double hook ups of slot fish on every trip the last 2 weeks! The best bite came on the afternoon high tides along the river shoreline of Cape Coral and Fort Myers. We also found some decent fish near the passes between Sanibel and Captiva Islands in the early morning hours. Big mangrove snappers are showing up as expected during the summer. We found some very nice mangs along the deeper cuts of Pine Island Sound as well as Matlacha pass. Some near shore structures also provided nice fish on the calmer days. Shrimp and small shiners were the go to baits! Come experience some of the most amazing sunrises and sunsets while catching trophy fish for you and your family. There is a reason we are the top rated fishing charter service in Cape Coral! We also offer pick up/drop of services in Fort Myers, Fort Myers Beach, Sanibel Island, Captiva Island, Pine Island and Matlacha. Captain Jay |
