September also means big Redfish. Especially on the higher tides of Matlacha Pass.  Upper slot reds love them some cut bait deep inside the mangroves that surround the pass.

Snook, Snook, and more Snook!

The Snook action has been nothing short of fantastic the last few weeks in southwest Florida!  Lots of upper slot fish to be found all along Pine Island Sound from the southern end of Sanibel Island up north to Captiva Island.  

We also found lots of lower slot linesiders hanging around the mouth of the Caloosahatchee River on both the Cape Coral and Fort Myers shorelines.  Live bait is getting bigger and better and that only means September fishing will continue to be fire!
