The summer Snook bite continues to be the proven steady action with plenty of fish chewing on the east side of Pine Island Sound directly across from Sanibel and Captiva Islands. We found bigger Snook on the late morning high tides along the Fort Myers and Cape Coral shorelines. Live bait worked best for them hungry boys! Late summer also means big snapper time. Our guests are enjoying the fresh fillets of these delicious fish cleaned up and ready for the fryer! We are finding nice mangs all over Matlacha pass oyster bars and smaller mangrove islands. Small pins was the bait of choice! Cape Coral fishing has been fantastic during the summer and the fall season only gets better. WE ARE NOW BOOKING DECEMBER 2025 AND JANUARY 2026!! Fishing continues to be great this summer and there’s no signs of slowing down for us here at Salty Native Charters! What are you waiting for? Weather looks awesome! Come experience for yourself why we are the best Cape Coral fishing charters!
Redfish has become our primary summer targeted species and so far we’ve been right on the money. We landed some nice upper slot Reds on the west side of Pine Island Sound along the shorelines of Sanibel and Captiva Islands. The afternoon high tides produced the best bites. We did well with live pins and of course, cut bait! Most of the bigger Snook are still off the passes and beaches for the spawning season but we still managed to find plenty of hungry fish along the Fort Myers and Cape Coral shorelines and they devoured the bigger pilchards and threads. July is a wrap and we were so fortunate to have some great families on board! Cape Coral fishing has been fantastic this summer and I expect even better results in August.
