Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Sanibel Island, Captiva Island, Matlacha and Pine Island Fishing Report12/21/2023 Couple days of some serious wind is now behind us and the fish are hungry!
First day back out on the water after a crazy windy week and we found some seriously hungry Snook all along Pine Island Sound. Some higher than normal tides for this time of year gave us full access to areas around Sanibel and Captiva Islands, where we found more Snook, some smaller slot Redfish and nice Trout. Been staying out of the wind in the mouth of the Caloosahatchee River and it’s paid off with more big Snook and some very nice Sheepshead. Worked the shorelines of Cape Coral and Fort Myers with nice numbers on both sides. Speaking of Sheepshead, with this colder weather, this should be an epic year for our northern guests favorite table fare! December is completely booked up but January still has some spots available. Come enjoy a great day in the warm Florida sunshine and see why we are the top rated fishing, shelling and sightseeing charter in all of southwest Florida. We offer convenient pick up/drop off locations throughout Cape Coral, Fort Myers, Sanibel, Island, Captiva, Island, Fort Myers, Beach and Pine Island. A very Merry Christmas to all our amazing guests, families and friends!! November was interesting for sure with the fluctuating water temps. Not to worry tho, we still found plenty of hungry fish along Pine Island Sound from the southern end of Sanibel Island to north of Captiva Island. The cooling waters is firing up the river bite along the Cape Coral and Fort Myers shorelines. Lots of slot sized Snook, Redfish and Trout keeping our anglers busy. Speaking of busy, we are entering the busiest time of the year, December. We are booking quick. Please call Captain Jay directly at (239) 707-3756 to book your custom charter.
