Cape Coral, Fort Myers, Sanibel Island, Captiva Island, Matlacha and Pine Island Fall Fishing Report3/20/2024 Spring break is here and the kids, and the captain, couldn’t be happier!
Been busy last couple of weeks with fish of all sizes and variety. When fishing with kids, it’s all about the action! We found lots of Snook, Redfish and Trout of all sizes to keep lines tight for hours. Fishing has been great all along Pine Island Sound from Sanibel Island to north Captiva Island. Spent lots of time on the Caloosahatchee River that also produced some great shark action for the kids. Bite was great along the Cape Coral and Fort Myers shorelines. Gearing up for more catching action with another round of spring breakers and luckily, the weather seems to be cooperating. Bring your family out on the water with us and experience for yourself why we are the top rated fishing and sight seeing charter in Cape Coral! We offer easy and convenient pick up locations throughout Cape Coral, Fort Myers, Fort Myers Beach, Sanibel and Captiva Islands. Captain Jay

We’ve been finding good numbers of upper slot fish in the Cape Coral and Fort Myers canal systems. Later afternoon and live bait was the key to success. Plenty of Trout around Sanibel and Captiva Islands. Lots of under slot fish in the mix but great fun on light tackle while working for your limit. Live shrimp worked great for us this last week on the flats in Pine Island Sound! Very limited spots left for March as we near the spring break madness. The warming trend has really gotten the bite going here in southwest Florida. Especially the Snook! We had steady Snook action all last week with good numbers of upper slot fish as well as many under slot releases. The shorelines along Cape Coral and Fort Myers produced the bigger fish on the high afternoon tides. Handpick shrimp worked best for us as well as some whitebait. We found lots of just under slot fish in the deeper cuts on low tide along Sanibel and Captiva Islands. The lower than normal tides made it hard to access some areas but we were definitely rewarded for it. Should be an amazing spring this year with spectacular fishing. Captain Jay Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Sanibel Island, Captiva Island, Matlacha and Pine Island Fishing Report12/21/2023 Couple days of some serious wind is now behind us and the fish are hungry!
First day back out on the water after a crazy windy week and we found some seriously hungry Snook all along Pine Island Sound. Some higher than normal tides for this time of year gave us full access to areas around Sanibel and Captiva Islands, where we found more Snook, some smaller slot Redfish and nice Trout. Been staying out of the wind in the mouth of the Caloosahatchee River and it’s paid off with more big Snook and some very nice Sheepshead. Worked the shorelines of Cape Coral and Fort Myers with nice numbers on both sides. Speaking of Sheepshead, with this colder weather, this should be an epic year for our northern guests favorite table fare! December is completely booked up but January still has some spots available.
