Summertime fishing continues on strong and Its all smiles from the kids and adults and there’s no signs of slowing down for us here at Salty Native Charters! What are you waiting for?  Weather looks awesome! Come experience for yourself why we are the best Cape Coral fishing charters!

Snook has become our primary summer targeted species and so far we’ve been right on the money. We landed some nice upper slot fish on the west side of Pine Island Sound along the shorelines of Sanibel and Captiva Islands.  The afternoon high tides produced the best bites. We did well with live pilchards and of course, cut bait!

Most of the bigger Snook have moved off into the passes and beaches for the spawning season but we still managed to find plenty of hungry fish along the Fort Myers and Cape Coral shorelines. These river fish preferred live pinfish for a meal.

June is in the books and we were so fortunate to have some great families on board! Cape Coral fishing has been fantastic during the month of June and I expect even better results in July.

Fishing, eco tours, shelling trips, dolphin tours or maybe all the above.  Salty Native Charters can customize any trip specifically to your needs.  Captain Jay is a U.S. Coast Guard veteran and his attention to detail and safety makes us the top rated fishing charters in Cape Coral.

We were blessed to once again have some great repeat anglers on board this past week and they wanted Snook and Redfish action.  They come back to us for a reason…. We deliver! We found nice Snook along the mouth of the Caloosahatchee river on both the Fort Myers and Cape Coral sides.  Big white baits did the trick for us on the higher afternoon tides.

We found our bigger Redfish chewing on the east side of Pine Island Sound directly across from Sanibel and Captiva Islands.  We also found some big trout mixed in with the some smaller reds on the late morning high tides along the Fort Myers and Cape Coral shorelines.  Cut bait worked best for them hungry boys!

It’s beginning to feel a lot like summer and that means it’s prime time for some amazing Cape Coral fishing!

Big Snook have started the summer migration towards the beaches with plenty of fish chewing on the east side of Pine Island Sound directly across from Sanibel and Captiva Islands.  We found Snook of all sizes on the early afternoon high tides along the Fort Myers and Cape Coral shorelines.  Live bait and fresh cut bait worked best.

Some larger schools of Redfish were a very welcomed surprise this past week.  We found the schools all over the northern parts of Matlacha pass oyster bars and smaller mangrove islands.  Cut pins did the trick for us.

Cape Coral fishing in the summer is a great  time to catch a huge variety of different species.
