We took full advantage of the warmer weather last week and had a great time with our loyal customers fishing out of Cape Coral, Florida!
The holidays are always a special treat when we get to see our good friends from the north and spend the day on the water! Snook really fired up with the warmer water temps. We found fish of all sizes along the Cape Coral and Fort Myers shorelines of the Caloosahatchee River. Pilchards were the bait of choice which is common with the bigger linesiders. Still finding decent schools of Black Drum in our area. What a great fight on light tackle those fish can be. Live shrimp was the key for those guys last week. Schools of drum were holding tight along the oyster bars of Sanibel Island and Captiva Island as well as the bars along the east side of Pine Island Sound. Get out of the cold and come on down to sunny southwest Florida and book a trip with the best Cape Coral Fishing Charters!
