Halfway done with September and the fishing continues to get better everyday!
We landed big numbers of Snook over the last week with fish sizes anywhere from overslot to juveniles. Found them all over Pine Island sound from North Captiva to the south parts of Sanibel Island.
We haven’t been into Matlacha Pass in a few weeks but found decent upper slot and rat Redfish along the mouth of Caloosahatchee River into Fort Myers and Cape Coral.
Special thanks to my great friends Jamie and Brad for three great days on the water!

September is here and the Snook are on the move!!
Snook have started their migration from the spawning grounds off the beach into the backcountry and estuaries. We found nice numbers of big boys and girls this past week deep inside the feeder creeks of Sanibel and Captiva Islands as well as the east wall of Pine Island Sound.
We also found great numbers of lower slot fish on the afternoon high tides along the Cape Coral and Fort Myers shorelines of the Caloosahatchee River.
Redfish are also starting to show up in big numbers. Especially in Matlacha Pass! Once again, the late afternoon high tide proved to be best for catching the upper slot fish.
September and October are the best times of the year to target Snook, Redfish and Trout. All signs indicate it’s going to be a great fall season!

The fishing and the weather continue to be hot hot hot in southwest Florida!
July has been providing some of the best Snook fishing we have experienced all summer. We have been taking advantage of the higher summer tides and finding big fish deep under the bushes. The mangrove shorelines along Sanibel and Captiva Islands are providing the best numbers early in the morning. We’ve also been catching some upper slot fish on the outgoing tide in the late afternoon in the southern parts of Pine Island Sound and Matlacha Pass.
Some huge Trout are making for great days for our anglers! Nice big fish along the Cape Coral and Fort Myers shorelines of the Caloosahatchee River. Most fish have been over slot but a blast to catch!!
Early morning trips are keeping us busy and out of the heat! Couple mornings still left for July. We provide easy pick up and drop off anywhere in Cape Coral, Fort Myers, Sanibel Island, Captiva Island, Pine Island, and Matlacha.

Its been a great June so far with fantastic weather and even better fishing. Plenty of quality Snook, Redfish and Trout to keep everyone happy!
We’ve been finding some upper/over slot Snook in the early morning hours along the passes around Sanibel and Captiva Islands. We’ve also found good quality Snook along the shorelines of Fort Myers and Cape Coral in the late afternoon when temps tend to cool down a bit with the higher water.
Speaking of higher water, nice Redfish have been moving deep into the bushes of Matlacha Pass as expected with the seasonal higher summer tides.
The Trout bite has fired back up with good number of upper slot fish being landed on the deeper grass flats and potholes on both the south and north ends of Pine Island Sound.

Big Snook have moved out to the passes and beaches but still good numbers of slot fish inshore. We caught nice, upper slot Snook along Sanibel and Captiva Island passes. Plenty of quality Snook still around areas of Pine Island Sound as well as the shores of Cape Coral and Fort Myers.
We found great numbers of quality Redfish in Matlacha pass last week on the late afternoon high tides. Fish were in their summertime pattern of deep in the bushes with the high water.
Still catching some very nice gator Trout along the Caloosahatchee River just minutes from our home dock in Caoe Coral.

You just gotta love this time of year in southwest Florida. Snook, Redfish, Trout, Tarpon, Snapper… You name it, we’re catching it!!!
Great to see some significant numbers of Redfish returning to our area. Our guests managed some good catches of reds on late morning high tides on both the east and west sides of Pine Island. We covered some ground from Sanibel Island to Captiva over to the St. James City to find the fish and it payed off.
Snook continue to provide some great excitement for our guests. And although they are now catch and release, no one is complaining when they are hooked up! Bigger fish starting to move out to the beaches but still some quality fish to be found along the shores of Fort Myers and Cape Coral.
We don’t usually focus on Trout but wow, have we landed some gators these past 2 months!! We’ve been finding some great fish along Matlacha Pass as well as the mouth of the Caloosahatchee River.

April has been one of the best fishing months we've had in southwest Florida and there are no signs of slowing down!
By far the Snook fishing has been out of this world lately with big upper slot fish landed daily. We’re finding Snook of all sizes along the mangroves of Sanibel and Captiva Islands on the incoming tide. Lots of fish to be found along Pine Island and Matlacha Pass at the top of the tide as well!
Our guests had a blast with upper slot and over slot Trout fishing these past few weeks with great fish landed along the Cape Coral and Fort Myers shoreline of the Caloosahatchee river.

Bit of a roller coaster with our weather lately. But that’s not stopping us from finding the action. Spring break is here and the kids are having a blast!
Snook continue to provide tons of action for our anglers. Good numbers of decent fish along the mouth of the Caloosahatchee River and into the Cape Coral and Fort Myers shorelines. Found some better fish along the passes between Sanibel and Captiva Islands. Big pins on the later outgoing tide were the ticket!
We also found some nice Redfish these past couple weeks. Some upper slot fish on cut bait in Matlacha Pass kept some young anglers busy with some good, long runs!
Got some spots left open in April. Give us a call and let’s get the spring breakers on the water. Come spend the day in the beautiful warm weather and see why we are Cape Coral and Fort Myers top rated fishing and sightseeing charter services!
Weather is definitely heating up in southwest Florida and so is the fishing!!!
The recent warming trend has really fired up the inshore action and the Snook bite could not be any better. We found Snook of all sizes everywhere from the shorelines on Sanibel and Captiva Islands to both sides of the Caloosahatchee river in Cape Coral and Fort Myers. We also found good numbers of upper slot fish along the eastern side of Pine Island sound on the early afternoon high tides.
We really enjoyed some nice clean water along the shores of Matlacha Pass and that paid off for our northern guests who love them some Sheepshead for the dinner table!
