The fishing and the weather continue to be hot hot hot in southwest Florida!

July has been providing some of the best Snook fishing we have experienced all summer.  We have been taking advantage of the higher summer tides and finding big fish deep under the bushes.  The mangrove shorelines along Sanibel and Captiva Islands are providing the best numbers early in the morning.  We’ve also been catching some upper slot fish on the outgoing tide in the late afternoon in the southern parts of Pine Island Sound and Matlacha Pass.

Some huge Trout are making for great days for our anglers!  Nice big fish along the Cape Coral and Fort Myers shorelines of the Caloosahatchee River.  Most fish have been over slot but a blast to catch!!

Early morning trips are keeping us busy and out of the heat!  Couple mornings still left for July.  We provide easy pick up and drop off anywhere in Cape Coral, Fort Myers, Sanibel Island, Captiva Island, Pine Island, and Matlacha.

Its been a great June so far with fantastic weather and even better fishing.  Plenty of quality Snook, Redfish and Trout to keep everyone happy!

We’ve been finding some upper/over slot Snook in the early morning hours along the passes around Sanibel and Captiva Islands.  We’ve also found good quality Snook along the shorelines of Fort Myers and Cape Coral in the late afternoon when temps tend to cool down a bit with the higher water.

Speaking of higher water, nice Redfish have been moving deep into the bushes of Matlacha Pass as expected with the seasonal higher summer tides. 

The Trout bite has fired back up with good number of upper slot fish being landed on the deeper grass flats and potholes on both the south and north ends of Pine Island Sound.
