Cape Coral, Fort Myers, Sanibel Island, Captiva Island, Matlacha and Pine Island Fishing Report7/1/2023 Its been a great June so far with fantastic weather and even better fishing. Plenty of quality Snook, Redfish and Trout to keep everyone happy!
We’ve been finding some upper/over slot Snook in the early morning hours along the passes around Sanibel and Captiva Islands. We’ve also found good quality Snook along the shorelines of Fort Myers and Cape Coral in the late afternoon when temps tend to cool down a bit with the higher water. Speaking of higher water, nice Redfish have been moving deep into the bushes of Matlacha Pass as expected with the seasonal higher summer tides. The Trout bite has fired back up with good number of upper slot fish being landed on the deeper grass flats and potholes on both the south and north ends of Pine Island Sound. June is almost a wrap but still have some dates available in July. Call us today and book your custom charter. Fishing, shelling, eco tours, beaches and bar hopping, Salty Native Charters has you covered. Easy pick up locations in Cape Coral, Fort Myers, Sanibel, Captiva, Fort Myers Beach and Pine Island!
