The weather in Southwest Florida has been the topic of conversation on the boat all week. The cooler than normal temperatures have the fish on the move which is not always a bad thing. The Snook bite in Cape Coral has been great. Especially before the fronts. Lots of smaller hungry fish to be had. The trout bite has also been very good along the river in Fort Myers. Sanibel and Captiva Islands are holding good numbers of larger fish in the passes and deeper waters that tend to be warmer. Fortunately, the sunny days help warm the inshore waters fairly quickly which always helps with the bite. Looks like we will have a couple more fronts this coming week which will help with the pre-front bite.
