We had some serious cold fronts move in this past week and that’s got the fish on the move through southwest Florida.
Big Snook have shown up deep along the Caloosahatchee River on both the Cape Coral and Fort Myers side. We found some smaller fish still in Pine Island Sound mostly along the Sanibel Island mangrove Shoreline. Winter low tides is making for some great sight fishing around Matlacha and Captiva Island. Big Redfish cruising the flats on the top of the incoming. Managed to land several upper slot fish when the wind allowed. Lets hope this past weekends big chill will really get the Sheepshead and Trout fired up! Just a couple days left in February so call soon to book your trip! Captain Jay
