Cape Coral, Fort Myers, Sanibel Island, Captiva Island, Matlacha and Pine Island Fishing Charters9/24/2022 Halfway through September and the fishing has been RED hot!!!
The Redfish bite in southwest Florida has been absolutely on fire this month! We have been catching good numbers of over slot reds along the southern end of Pine Island on the high incoming tides as well as decent sized schooling fish around Sanibel and Captiva Islands on the low outgoing tides. Snook fishing has been almost as hot as the Redfish action with lots of slot sized fish caught on live pilchards in the mouth of the Caloosahatchee River and San Carlos Bay. Some really nice fish have started moving in along the Cape Coral and Fort Myers shorelines making for some great fishing for our guests! Speckled Sea Trout and nice Mangrove Snappers are also munching well along the southern end of Matlacha Pass. Making for some very happy guests taking home some delicious table fare. I can’t see how Fishing can get any better but if this is any indication of how the fall is going to be, October should be off the charts. We still have some dates left so book your trip now! We pick up anywhere in the southwest Florida area that’s most convenient for you! Fort Myers, Caoe Coral, Sanibel Island, Captiva, Fort Myers Beach and Pine Island. Captain Jay
