Cape Coral, Sanibel and Captiva Islands Fishing Report

We took full advantage of the pre-front Snook bite this past week with anglers hooking up with all sizes of fish including some double hook ups!  

The best action came in the late afternoon high tides in Pine Island Sound near Sanibel and Captiva Islands.  The Caloosahatchee River along Cape Coral held bigger fish that couldn’t resist fresh live bait.  

We also managed to find some upper slot Redfish in the mouth of the river along Fort Myers and Punta Rassa.  

Tarpon have returned to the area and will be the targeted species when requested by our guests.
