Cape Coral, Sanibel & Captiva Island Fishing Report

The temperature and the fishing are heating up in southwest Florida and the big Snook were by far the hottest bite last week.  We found good numbers of fish all along Sanibel Island and Captiva Island on the strong incoming tide as well as some nicer fish showing up along the river in Fort Myers and Cape Coral.  

We were fortunate to have multiple charters seeing 30 to 40 Snook releases with some landings of 30+ inch fish.  

We continue to see some good numbers of Redfish along Matlacha Pass as well as some nice fish.
