November was interesting for sure with the fluctuating water temps.  Not to worry tho, we still found plenty of hungry fish along Pine Island Sound from the southern end of Sanibel Island to north of Captiva Island.

Bit of a warming trend to start off November has kept the bite on fire!

Snook continue to be the hottest action with all sizes of line siders providing non-stop action for our guests.  Lots of big fish still to be found around Sanibel and Captiva Island.  Also, some good numbers of Snook along the Cape Coral and Fort Myers shorelines.

The last two weeks of October provided some of the best fishing we’ve seen this fall.  Redfish were by far the biggest treat for our clients with big over-slot catches on every trip.  The passes along Sanibel Island and Captiva Island paid off on the strong outgoing tides.  

We worked the higher afternoon tides along the mouth of the river were we found nice Snook of all sizes on both the Cape Coral and Fort Myers shorelines.

We’ve had some major weather changes over the past few weeks and while the water has cooled off, the fishing could not be hotter!

Big Snook have moved in to the waters along the Cape Coral and Fort Myers side of the Caloosahatchee River.  While plenty of nice slot sized fish continue to bite along Sanibel and Captiva Islands.  

Finally staring to see some good numbers of Redfish making their way inshore.  We found good number of hungry reds of all sizes in the southern parts of Matlacha Pass on the early morning outgoing tide.

Great finish to September, October looking even better!

It’s October in southwest Florida and that means the inshore fishing is at its best!  We managed some big Snook hookups for our guests these past few weeks with the best bites on the early morning high tide along Pine Island Sound as well as the west wall along Sanibel and Captiva Islands.

Halfway done with September and the fishing continues to get better everyday!

We landed big numbers of Snook over the last week with fish sizes anywhere from overslot to juveniles.  Found them all over Pine Island sound from North Captiva to the south parts of Sanibel Island.  

We haven’t been into Matlacha Pass in a few weeks but found decent upper slot and rat Redfish along the mouth of Caloosahatchee River into Fort Myers and Cape Coral.

September is here and the Snook are on the move!!

Snook have started their migration from the spawning grounds off the beach into the backcountry and estuaries.  We found nice numbers of big boys and girls this past week deep inside the feeder creeks of Sanibel and Captiva Islands as well as the east wall of Pine Island Sound.  

We also found great numbers of lower slot fish on the afternoon high tides along the Cape Coral and Fort Myers shorelines of the Caloosahatchee River.  

Redfish are also starting to show up in big numbers.  Especially in Matlacha Pass!  Once again, the late afternoon high tide proved to be best for catching the upper slot fish.

September and October are the best times of the year to target Snook, Redfish and Trout.  All signs indicate it’s going to be a great fall season!

The fishing and the weather continue to be hot hot hot in southwest Florida!

July has been providing some of the best Snook fishing we have experienced all summer.  We have been taking advantage of the higher summer tides and finding big fish deep under the bushes.  The mangrove shorelines along Sanibel and Captiva Islands are providing the best numbers early in the morning.  We’ve also been catching some upper slot fish on the outgoing tide in the late afternoon in the southern parts of Pine Island Sound and Matlacha Pass.

Some huge Trout are making for great days for our anglers!  Nice big fish along the Cape Coral and Fort Myers shorelines of the Caloosahatchee River.  Most fish have been over slot but a blast to catch!!

Its been a great June so far with fantastic weather and even better fishing.  Plenty of quality Snook, Redfish and Trout to keep everyone happy!

We’ve been finding some upper/over slot Snook in the early morning hours along the passes around Sanibel and Captiva Islands.  We’ve also found good quality Snook along the shorelines of Fort Myers and Cape Coral in the late afternoon when temps tend to cool down a bit with the higher water.

Speaking of higher water, nice Redfish have been moving deep into the bushes of Matlacha Pass as expected with the seasonal higher summer tides. 

The Trout bite has fired back up with good number of upper slot fish being landed on the deeper grass flats and potholes on both the south and north ends of Pine Island Sound.
