Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Sanibel Island, Captiva Island, Matlacha and Pine Island Fishing Report4/5/2023 Snook, Redfish, Trout and even Sheepshead were on the chopping block this past week. Gotta love this time of year!!
The Redfish are starting to show up in better numbers and providing for a great fight! Been sight fishing some nice upper slot Reds on the oyster bars around Sanibel and Captiva Islands during the late morning low tide. Snook fishing continues to remain strong along the mouth of the Caloosahatchee River and the shore lines of Cape Coral and Fort Myers. We also found some bigger fish in Matlacha pass during the late afternoon high tide. Got a request from some very special clients for some Sheepshead and while the water temps are nearing 80 degrees, we still managed to find out limit of nice quality fish along the east wall of Pine Island Sound. Probably it for sheeps until next year! Couple days still available for April. Give us a call, text or email to book your trip! Let us show you why we are the top rated fishing, shelling and eco charter service in all of southwest Florida!!! Captain Jay
