The inshore fishing remains strong in Southwest Florida!  With good numbers of Snook, Redfish, Trout and nice keeper snappers added to the mix!

Been finding the Snook in the usual spots along Sanibel and Captiva Island.  Nice numbers of healthy fish also showing up along the Cape Coral and Fort Myers shorelines.

Redfish looks very promising for the upcoming season.  With good numbers of slot fished around the northern tip of Pine Island Sound and some decent numbers on the south end mixed in with some Snook as well. 

Mangrove snappers have been providing some great table fare for our guests with with some nice keeper mangs feeding in the early morning hours on the nearshore wrecks. 

Still a couple weeks left of summer before our favorite time of year, the fall!  Look for the upcoming King Tides in September to really get the inshore bight on fire!!

That’s a wrap! Finished strong in July with the action as hot as the temperature!  Many of our guests experienced personal best catches of Snook, Redfish and Trout.

Snook have been biting better than ever on the high incoming tides along Pine Island Sound from Sanibel Island north to Upper Captiva.  Lots of slot fish caught this month on the north end of Matlacha as well.  

We landed solid numbers of Redfish in the mouth of the Caloosahatchee River and into the Fort Myers and Cape Coral sides.  Did beat with cut bait off Pine Island during the later afternoon tides.  

Trout have been everywhere this past month with easy limits for those anglers that wanted to take some fish home.  

Weather pattern for August is usually very similar to July so no rest in the fishing anytime soon! 

This past week we experienced what we hope will be our last cold front of the season.  But the fish didn’t seem to mind!

Redfish are here and showing up in good numbers in Pine Island Sound from south Sanibel Island to the northern end of Captiva Island.  Also managed some nice upper slot Redfish in the Pineland area of Pine Island as well as the southern islands of Matlacha.

Snook are still a plenty along the Fort Myers and Cape Coral shorelines of the Caloosahatchee River.  The later afternoon high tides really turned on the bite! 

TARPON are here!  We jumped our first fish this week while fishing the flats for Cobia.  Looking forward to another great Tarpon season.  Still some dates left in May. Call now to book your battle with the “Silver King!”

Spring is in full swing and we are providing our guests with smiles for miles!!

Snook Fishing has been some of the best action we have seen in years!  We landed upper slot fish on the late morning incoming tide around Sanibel and Captiva Island.  The strong afternoon outgoing tide provided great numbers of fish in various sizes along the Caloosahatchee river on both the Cape Coral and Fort Myers side.

We managed some nice upper slot  Redfish in Matlacha and Pine Island Sound on the flats during the morning low tide and deep under the trees on the afternoon high.  What bait was the ticket 

We’ve got another full week of eager young anglers on spring break waiting to get their shot at a trophy fish and we couldn’t be more excited.

The inshore bite remained strong throughout southwest Florida this past week despite a quick cold front that moved in last weekend. 

Snook fishing has been as good as it gets this week and it’s showing no signs of slowing down.  All our trips this past week caught good sized slot fish with a couple over slot added in. The Cape Coral shore along the Caloosahatchee held big boys this week with some smaller but great fighting Snook landed along Sanibel and Captiva Islands.  

We finished our afternoon trips this week landing upper slot redfish in Matlacha Pass on the higher than average tides.  Cut ladyfish worked best for the reds deep under the bushes.

Some decent Trout and Pompano were caught last week along San Carlos Bay in Fort Myers.  We also managed nice Trout along Pine Island in the sound. 

Weather continues to look amazing and warm for the coming weeks which is exactly what we want to continue this epic run!

It was another great week of catching here in southwest Florida!  Big Snook and Redfish were the targeted species for our guests and the fish did not disappoint!  Had some great trips and fun times with our Spring Breakers as a bonus!!!

We caught good numbers of slot and upper slot Snook last week along the eastern shore of Pine Island Sound.  There were plenty of smaller fish caught along the shores of Sanibel Island up to Captiva Island that kept the anglers busy.  We also managed some really nice fish during the early morning outgoing tides in the Caloosahatchee River on the Cape Coral and Fort Myers side.  

We managed to land some nice Redfish this past week while on the Snook hunt.  Our best results were in the late morning/early afternoon incoming tide with the best action in Matlacha Pass.  

Another cold front just blasted through our area this past weekend.  Hopefully it won’t do too much to change the incredible action we are seeing now!

Started last week with some cooler temperatures but the quick weekend warm up really turned on the bite! 

Snook have been feeding all over Pine Island Sound.  From the creeks in and around Sanibel Island to the docks and passes around Captiva.  We also managed some nice upper slot Snook later in the afternoons along the Cape Coral and Fort Myers sides of the river. 

We managed to find a decent school of Redfish in Matlacha this past week while waiting out the thick fog.  

Looks like warmer weather ahead for the coming week.  That should really fire up the inshore bite!  

Spring is just around the corner.  That means Spring Break for the kids!!  We’ve already started converting some non-angling youngsters into hard core fishing fanatics!!!

The cold and wind has made some days a bit challenging this past week but with some hard work, we always find the fish!

As expected, the Sheepshead bite has really fired up with nice keepers coming in the early morning hours along the deep mangroves and structure along Sanibel and Captiva Islands. 

The Snook bite has been much better in the late afternoon of fishing the Caloosahatchee River on either the Fort Myers or Cape Coral sides.  As always, the pre-front bite has been the best with lots of smaller slot fish still chewing hard under the bushes in Matlacha Pass. 

Landed a few Redfish this past week in Pine Island Sound during the late morning hours. Most fish were found in or around the deeper potholes around the islands. 

Looks like some more cooler temps this coming week. Hopefully this will be the end of the cold and we will start to warm up soon.  Warm temps show up in March and so do the hunger fish!!!  We still have some dates available so call now to what should be an epic spring bite!!!

We had some serious cold fronts move in this past week and that’s got the fish on the move through southwest Florida. 

Big Snook have shown up deep along the Caloosahatchee River on both the Cape Coral and Fort Myers side.  We found some smaller fish still in Pine Island Sound mostly along the Sanibel Island mangrove Shoreline.

Winter low tides is making for some great sight fishing around Matlacha and Captiva Island. Big Redfish cruising the flats on the top of the incoming.  Managed to land several upper slot fish when the wind allowed.

Lets hope this past weekends big chill will really get the Sheepshead and Trout fired up! Just a couple days left in February so call soon to book your trip!
